One of the MANY reasons we love Affogatos is because there are endless flavor combinations! Vanilla bean ice cream topped with Chocolate liqueur and macadamia nuts. Coffee ice cream topped with Coffee liqueur and chocolate covered espresso beans. Chocolate Bourbon ice cream and Mocha liqueur topped with hazelnuts. The list goes on!

Conniptions 3 helpful facts when preparing to make an Affogato:

1. Make sure the ice cream you are using is top notch. Durhamites, we recommend Parlour and Raleigh folks, we recommend Two Roosters.

2. Have all three Damn Fine liqueurs on hand because you never know what mood you'll be in.

3. Buy enough ingredients to have two. Trust us.

Ingredients

1-2 scoops ice cream or gelato
1 oz. hot Espresso
1 oz. Damn Fine Liqueur of choice

Directions

Place your ice cream or gelato in a serving glass or dessert cup.
Pour your choice of Damn Fine Liqueur and hot Espresso over the ice cream/gelato.
Grab a spoon and enjoy.
