Commonly vodka-based but we couldn't wait to include a gin riff on this very popular cocktail. Conniption's American Dry Gin works so well in this Lemon Drop cocktail. It is a sweet and tart delight.

The Lemon Drop gets an elegant, botanical twist with the addition of Conniption American Dry Gin. Ingredients

1.5 oz. Conniption American Dry Gin
3/4 oz. Limoncello
1/4 oz. lemon juice
1/4 oz. simple syrup
Slice of cucumber

Garnish

Cucumber slice and/or lemon wheel garnish

Directions

In a shaker with ice, shake gin, limoncello, lemon juice, simple syrup. Optional: Add a few bits of cucumber (more or less depending on how much cucumber you want to impart in the drink) to the shaker. Shake vigorously.
Strain cocktail from the shaker into a martini glass.
Garnish with cucumber slice and/or lemon wheel.
