A modern spin on the popular and classic Whiskey Smash. Light, refreshing and herbaceous, this pairing of peppery basil with botanical gin is a match made in summer heaven.
Ingredients

2 oz. Conniption American Dry Gin

1 oz. lemon juice

1 oz. of simple syrup (1:1)

3-4 basil leaves

2-3 oz of club soda
Directions
Tear up basil leaves and muddle with gin for 20-30 sec in a cocktail shaker.
Add lemon juice and simple syrup, and shake.
Pour into a glass with ice (should make 2 drinks). Top with 2-3 oz (depending on taste) of club soda.
