Every year, our bar team leans into holiday nostalgia — flavors that feel familiar, but reimagined through the Conniption lens. When we started playing with the idea of a sugar cookie cocktail, we wanted it to feel playful and grown-up. Something festive but not overly sweet; something that would make you smile before you even take a sip...
This martini is the result: a dessert cocktail that doesn’t take itself too seriously, honors classic cookie flavors, and still lets the elegance of gin shine through while giving a color-spectating view.
There are holiday cocktails… and then there are holiday moments disguised as cocktails. Our Sugar Cookie Martini is the latter — a nostalgic, dessert-in-a-glass masterpiece that captures everything we love about the season: warmth, whimsy, and just the right amount of sparkle.
Inspired by the nostalgia of sneaking warm cookies off the baking tray and the grown-up joy of a festive nightcap, this cocktail brings together Conniption American Dry Gin, Damn Fine Chocolate Liqueur, and Disaronno for a sip that’s creamy, cozy, and cheer-inducing. And yes... Santa really would trade his milk and cookies for this.
Between the marshmallow fluff rim and the cascade of holiday sprinkles, this drink basically decorates itself. Perfect for holiday parties, cozy nights in, or impressing that one friend who always brings the best dessert to the gathering.
Prep the rim: With a knife, edge a martini glass with marshmallow fluff.
Pour sprinkles into martini glass, take plate, flip and roll sprinkles around the marshmallow fluff, with the glass up against the plate.
Shake it up: Add gin, chocolate liqueur, and Disaronno to a shaker with ice.
Shake vigorously until icy and well combined.
Strain into the rimmed glass — admire the tie dye effect.
Sip and enjoy, preferably with holiday music playing and someone complimenting your mixology skills.

Why We Love It
Because it’s holiday magic in a martini glass.
It tastes like a sugar cookie… without being overly sweet. The gin keeps it bright and modern, the chocolate liqueur adds richness, and the Disaronno brings warm almond-cookie energy.
It looks like a festive showstopper. That marshmallow-sprinkle rim? A guaranteed crowd pleaser.
It’s wildly easy to make. Three ingredients + a rim = instant holiday joy.
It doubles as dessert. Enough said.
If you're looking for a signature cocktail to anchor your holiday hosting, this is the one people will ask you for every year.
